"Trephination” refers to the ancient practice of drilling a hole in the skull in an attempt to cure various problems associated with the brain. Brewer Mitch first brewed Trephination during a global hop shortage, proving, according to himself, that he must have had a hole in his head. The 2015 version is even maltier, richer, hoppier and more warming than his previous offerings.

Surprisingly good beer out of Sask. I’, very impressed. Normal looking with its reddish brown body and small tan skiff, some not so bad lacing was left behind. Aroma has a huge hit of sweet caramel malts with some spice and my favorite peach hops where very aggressive. Taste was a lot of the same, high end peach style hops and thick sweet malts. Brew was awesomely malty but I know some people don’t like that in there IIPA’s but I do. High quality brew they didn’t cheap out on it, good job Bushwakker!
