Cask. Close to black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, mild liquorice, some dark dry fruits as well as mild ashyness. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, toffee, some ashes as well as dark dy fruits. Gets some slight vanillaish notes in the finish. Very pleasant.

Opaque black, topped with a firm beige foam. Burnt and salty aroma with touches of tar-pastilles. Vurnt and salty flavour of black coffee, juniper and salmiak. Full creamy mouthfeel. Long medium bitter aftertaste of burnt malts, black coffee, salmiak and seasalt. A top notch Anglo-stout!

Cask at the Swan in the Rushes, Loughborough. Black, with a creamy light brown head. Sweet, roasted aroma. Great flavour, creamy, sweetish with coffee. Long aftertaste of the same flavours. Very smooth, surprisingly light, very drinkable. Excellent stout, one to open the eyes of 'Guinness drinkers'.
