The harvest lingers on, the blade still sharp. Weathered and beaten through seasons of wear, the Scythe has our trust when the field grows high. The beacon of utility, our rye india pale ale touches across the vital tenets of beer balance not by muting flavors, but by elevating them. A European crystal malt backbone is lifted by the drying herbal pop of Riverbend Malt’s Wrens Abruzzi Rye. “C” hops provide a grapefruit finish that remains curtained by the powerful aroma of blueberry & fresh pineapple, thanks to an exclusive Mosaic dry-hopping. Finish your work, wipe your brow, and reap this delicious reward. NOTE: All beers labeled as Scythe go under this name.

    Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6

Pours clear golden with a thin ivory head. Malty aroma has a hoppy overtone. Flavor is hoppy and malty with a hint of rye, not much else. Mouthfeel has average body and fizz. Go ahead, harvest one on a hot day.
