We brewed this Imperial IPA in collaboration with the US Bartenders Guild to highlight all of the amazing things they’re doing for our community. Surprisingly balanced and drinkable, given its stats. The stripped-down malt bill lets the noble hops go crazy with floral and grassy bouqets

IBU's listed at 118, gotta call BS on that one. Gotta call it because this is more malt forward, than anything else. The hops are noticeable in the aroma and flavor, but are not center stage. O.K piney and citrus hops in the nose and flavor, decent bitterness. Fair amount of sweetness though. Overall its o.k. , but nothing i would try again. Re-review- 6-15-2013. Tried this one from a bomber, aromas and flavors are devoid of hops, only a strong malt presence that reminds me of the flakes from a box of Post Raisin Bran. i will leave the original score from the tap review. bottle rating would be about 2.5
