Hops are the hero in this powerhouse. Hopped throughout with Simcoe and Centennial, Clencher is loaded with pine and citrus aromas and the body and alcohol to compliment it’s assertive flavors.

Poured aggressively into a pint glass, it's a slightly cloudy golden amber color with a foamy white head that leaves some spotty lacing. Lemon, sweet malt, grapefruit and resinous pine aromas. Lemon and sweet malt upfront, followed by some pine. Sweetness sticks around right up to the end when a hops kick in, but without drying or bitterness. Full mouthfeel that is representative of the style. I like supporting local brewers and this beer was a pleasant surprise.
