    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 10 | Overall: 8

    Cloudy amber heavy on the orange with a dense, wet and sticky white head. Apricots, biscuits make up the aroma with a slight tickle of alcohol. The Flavor is bright and peppery with alcohol, which balances the sticky malt nicely. Alcohol is readily apparent in this, but instead of sticking out like a sore thumb, it’s integrated nicely into the flavor and seems to fit. Very sticky beer, but it’s not cloying.

    Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8

    An orange appearance with a minimal head. A nice yeasty and citrusy flavor. The finish was slightly hoppy. A very interesting twist on a dopplebock being so sweet and citrusy. Regardless of classification this was a very nice brew.
