22 oz bomber, brought back from a trip Ohio, has been sitting in basement for a while. Label as pictured above. Very dark mahagony color, with a thick tan head. Foamy head, good retention, nice looking lace. Decent belgian yeast aroma, some prune/plum smell. A mix of fruit flavors, yeasty, spices, licorice, but all a bit thin. Some bitternes at the end, but no aftertaste. Mouthfeel is a little thin but average. Maybe I was expecting more deep richness, good but no real 'wow' factor.

Extremely dark amber pour, light is barely visible when held next to the light. Fizzy tan head that dwindles, decent retention with minimal lacing. Aroma has a slight belgian familiarity of yeast and earthiness. Some faint aromas of dark fruits and licorice with some spices mixed in. Mild body, finish is a touch watery and off balance. Decent taste, flavors of sweet malts and spices such as clove and nutmeg appear. Good brew but seems underdeveloped. Great label though.

Poured a caramel / amber color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel malts, anise, dark fruits, cocoa, yeast, and light alcohol. Taste was of much of the same, decent dubbel.
