Dark lager Braunstein Dark Lager is based on the Munich Dunkel, and is flavoured with American hops. This is a beautiful dark brown bottom fermented beer, almost mahogany in colour, with a rich aroma, containing soft malt nuances – sweetness, however, without being too sweet. It has a touch of caramel and chocolate in its aftertaste. In other words, a superb light and easily accessible dark beer. Brewed: All year Should be enjoyed at: 8-10 degrees Alc. %: 5,4

Draught@SBWF2007. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is slight caramel malts, some earth, diacetyl and hops. Flavour is the same. Pleasant brew.

500 ml brown bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 5.4%. Beautiful copper colour, large off-white head. Lovely and distinct aroma and flavour of caramel and treacle, also notes of butterscotch. Moderate hops. A very nice and drinkable dunkel.
