A deep, cloudy amber colored beer with a big frothy light bubbled-textured light tan head rising above. There's excellent hang time on the head. It settles into a thick ringlet and cap. The profile is sweet, caramel malt in nose and tasting. Some dark fruits added. Carbonation tickles the tongue

330 ml capped bottle. Poured an unfiltered cloudy burgundy-brown coloured Ale with a three fingers beige pillowy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Active carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is toasted and caramel malts, spicy, licorice, ripe dark fruits, plums. The flavour is caramel malts, fruity, pears, apples and spicy with a touch of pepper. The mouthfeel is clean but surprising quite thin and yet a bit sticky. This medium bodied Ale has a dry malty finish. Another pretty good Ale from Wallonnia.

330 ml bottle, simply called Brunehaut Ambrée, Bière Biologique (Organic Beer), courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%. Hazy amber to brown coloured beer, with a fluffy off-white head. Pours very fizzy. Nice aroma of spices, yeast and oak. Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour is moderately spicy and slightly fruity, with very moderate hops. The alcohol is well hidden. Not too bad.
