Cloudy and amber colored with a huge longlasting head. Aroma of toffee, some fruits and pepper. Taste is smooth and creamy. Burnt sugar, toffee, alcohol with some bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with some citrus and warming alcohol. A really nice brew.

An excellent belgian tripel. Great pour resulting in a thick white head. Nice spices give it a great flavor and it feels great going down. Not too sweet and strong alcohol.

Poured a hazy orange color with a large, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, caramel, citrus, spices, and alcohol. Taste of yeast, citrus, banana, spices, light alcohol in the finish.

Amber pour with big thick egg shell colored head. Aroma of light pine, citrus and spice. Initial hoppy bite and full alcohol taste. Malty throughout.

A deep orange color with a moderate white head. The aroma is citrus, molasses, and alcohol. The flavor is slightly spicy with a funky sour citrus flavor and a bit of rotten apples and honey mixed in. This has some lambic like qualities and doesnt seem to be like any Tripel Ive had before. The aftertaste is dusty and interesting. A nice beer anywho.

At first the beer wasn't exciting, with an average, foamy head and a dark copper color. The aroma and flavor, however, were very nice. Being a tripel, it has a lot of alcohol but the fruity pear flavor and aroma blended perfectly with the alcohol warming. Starts sweet with the fruit, then spicy and ends a little dryer with an aftertaste evenly coating your tongue with all the flavors. I enjoyed this beer a lot.

The first thing I thought when I poured this beer was "is this really a tripel?" It's dark - caramel colored. The head was not very big, but it did last the whole time. It was sweet, but not overly so, with an apple/pear hint, and a slighltly bitter finish. I really enjoyed the flavor.

I had seen this for a long time at my beer store. When It didn't move they finally dropped the price $7 a four pack down to $5.99. I couldn't pass that up. And it was 13 mos past the best by date to boot. IMO,this is like a higher octane slightly dry finish x-mas ale. Spicey, maybe some dried apple, cinnamon. Good stuff, gonna have to see if they have any left.

cloudy amber-orange colour with a giant creamy head and a nice lace, strong honeyish aroma with notes of gingerbread and spices, creamy and sweet, full-bodied, robust bitterness, the finish is dry, long and honeyish - clean and balanced with a good character - this is one of my old favourites
