Zythos Bierfestival 2012, Leuven, Belgium. Pours murky mahogany with copper edges and full tan head of foam. The aroma is straight up coffee like Folgers coffee and something a little richer. The taste is pretty nice with fairly rich coffee notes rolling into espresso notes, some nuttiness and a bit of toffee like goodness that enhances the experience. This has several layers of coffee and various malt and toffee nuances that creates a rather yummy like harmony.

Bottle thanks to MrsSHIG: Poured a deep brown with reddish edges, head is creamy lacing beige. Aroma is caramel, malty, smoke, bold coffee, dark fruits. Taste is dark fruits, figs, raisins, caramel malts, molasses, chocolate, espresso coffee, toffee. Very flavorful!
