Nice hoppy beer that satisfies my hop hunger. Great complex hop taste thanks to the 29 different hops. All around a great double IPA. I would definitely have this brew again and again.

"20 different varieties of hops give this ale an extreme punch of hop flavor. There's some 2-Row and crystal malt in there just for the sake of argument, but this beer is all about the leafy, luxurios flavor of hops." Alcohol: 11.4% IBUs: (est.): 87 Pretty Bitter and not as balanced as other Double or Imperial IPA's I have had. Good Effort and I look forward to trying more of their Edge City Beers

22 oz bottle. Pours a golden orange with a large fluffy white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is very sweet with pine, pepper and fruitiness and a little DMS.
The flavor is sweet sugary melon-ey malts followed by some spicy peppery pine. The finish is a subdued hop bitterness - kind of underwhelming for an IIPA. The alcohol is fairly well hidden but it sneaks up on you. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with some sharp carbonation.
Overall, this was decent, but a little unbalanced towards sweetness. I would've like to have seen a bigger hop bang. This seemed more like an English-style barleywine than a DIPA.
