Certainly not a hop-bomb and only slightly more so that their standard pale ale. Having said that, it didn't wreck the pallete and went well with the food. Requisite IPA characteristics, just nothing substantially grand except as indicated above.

Sampled on 10/7/2012. This India Pale Ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, citrusy and grapefruity. A medium bodied India Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and grapefruity and a touch piney. Decent carbonation. A fairly bitter IPA with a a whole lot of lingering hop bitterness. Nice IPA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is mostly bitter.

It pours an amber color with red, almost appearing pink. The head is off-white, dimply, and an excellent lace wrap. Aromatic scents of hops, pine, citrus and pineapple, maybe some cherries, and peppers and spices. The mouthfeel is smooth, medium-bodied, and zesty. Flavors of caramel malts, strong hop component, citrus zestiness, and spices. Despite the mouthfeel being a bit thin, this is awesome.

Smells very bready and malty almost like peanut brittle. Nice sunset orange with little to no head on the pour. Medium body and lacking in the carbonation.. it is not flat just not crisp. Flavor was more malty than hops. I would almost consider this ESB than an IPA but I am no expert. The malt over powers any hop influence and there is not citrus of pine..
