While trying to establish a settlement on what is present day Grand Bend, a group of French Canadian settlers gave their new home the name of Eaux croches which translates to crooked waters. the name was inspired by their horrific travels along the winding aux sables river which ended at the sharp 180 degree bend. Cream ale has a light to medium malty flavor with a refreshing creamy finish and a pleasing aroma of malts and subtle hops.
