A hop that tastes of bubble gum? Seriously? No, we did not believe it either. But it does! This is one unique, son of a bitch of a hop. Lemony, deep, musty with a smoothness which belies its power. This hop is lemony like a lemon who was angry earlier but is now tired because of all the rage. This hop of Japanese origin is best enjoyed trying to make sushi from your gold fish, or trying to persuade your girlfriend (or boyfriend maybe) to dress up as a Geisha for Valentine’s Day.

Pours out in a hazy reddish amber colour with a small creamy off-white head. Perfumy bittersweet aroma of sweet mint, marshmallow, Seville oranges, white peaches, mild lemon-zest and raspberries with hints of caramel. Medium-bodied with notes of caramel, fudge, sweet mint, grass and red berries. Bitter finish of grass, mild spices, lemon-zest, and herbs with sweetish undertones of caramel, milky chocolate and sweet mint.

Bottled@Kaisla, Helsinki. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is enormous cat piss, some almons and also very sweet and bitter as well. Flavour is fruits, quite much "bittermandel" and some quite grassy. Sorachi Ace still is a no go hop for me.
