pours a deep amber color with a off white thick foamy head that hangs around a while, leaving a lot of lacing. the aroma is caramel, citrus and malt. the taste is bready hops, malt and some caramel & pine. The mouthfeel is on the light side of medium with nice carbonation.

Comes out of the tap a beautiful dark, reddish amber, almost mahogany, with a fine-bubbled pale ruddy tan head. Malty aroma has a hoppy undertone and a firm hint of cloves and cinnamon. Flavor is mainly malty and has a hoppy, grassy undertone with cinnamon and cloves notes. Firm texture is quite fizzy and just a teensy slimy, but still quite enjoyable.

reminded me a bit of Alaskan Amber, but more boring. This was exactly the type of underwhelming brew that made me stay away from BB for a few years. Nothing horrible, but nearly all their beers are below average for the style, this one included. One word to sum up this beer would be "mild".
