    Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

750 ml capped bottle, bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Anosteké stemmed glass an unfiltered, opaque and dark-dark-dark-brown, close to black, coloured I S with a one finger tan, fine and creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is bitter roasted malts, roasted coffee beans, dark fruits, plums, spicy touches, vanilla, licorice and marked herbal notes. The flavour is heavy roasted and burnt malts, roasted coffee beans, caramel, dark sourish berries, dark bitter chocolate, marzipan, herbal hops, notes of ashes. The mouthfeel is fulled, strong bitter and even a bit sticky. The texture is oily. This medium to full bodied Imperial Stout has a long coffeish and bitter finish. Characterful, a well hidden alcohol, robust... for short the try worth. Good job, Olivier ! I like your creation.
