We are Canadian. We welcome winter with open arms. It's the Great White North, eh? Skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, lobster fishing (if you are in LFA 33 and 34), and maybe tobogganing. It also means sitting by the fire with a nice winter warmer, or a great beer. We've got just the ticket… Introducing Blue Toboggan, spiced winter ale. Spiced with the great flavours of the season - cinnamon and ginger. We also added a touch of Haskap juice from our friends at Haskapa just for fun. Pours a pale straw with a tinge of red-blue from the haskap berries with a nice head and ample lacing. On the palate, the ginger comes first followed by cinnamon and a hint of that great haskap berry. It's backed up by a nice malt backbone, mild bitterness and a smooth finish. At 6% ABV, we think it's the perfect beer for apres-ski, apres-sledding or apres-anything you like. Happy winter!
