Comes out of the bottle a rather hazy solar yellow with a thick, fluffy white head. Aroma has strong yeasty and wheaty notes and more than a hint of sweet citrus. Wheaty flavor has a yeasty undertone and a nice sunny citrus note, plus a touch of hops. Texture is a teensy thin and has just a little fizz, but it leaves a nice wheaty and slightly woody finish. Overall, not too shabby. Try it on a broiling day.

this was ok. i'm hoping for a little more from the boulevard.deschutes white ipa. slightly better than average wit, no more, no less. coriander, orange zest, yeast...a little too thin and bubbly.

Sampled on 9/15/2010. This witbier pours a slighlt hazy light yellow gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, with good retention and nice lacing. The aroma is citrusy and grassy, floral and spicy. A light to medium bodied witbier. The malts are grassy and herbal. The hops are floral and slightly spicy. A lot of lemon flavors with some spiciness. Bright yeasts. A nice light and refreshing tasting beer. Lively carbonation. A great summer session beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and clean. Afteraste is slightly bitter and citrusy.

It pours a bright, thick, and pulpy yellow. An aroma of crisp malts, lemon and citrus, and coriander and spice. The mouthfeel is rich and smooth. Flavors of sweet malts, lemon and citrus, tart, and coriander and spices. Excellent!

12 oz bottle, best by 8/3/09. Pours a hazy dark yellow with a pillowy white head that quickly goes to a thin film and leaves some lacing.
The aroma is wheaty malts with some banana and clove spices and a little sweet fruit.
The flavor is very subdued - some wheat malts with some light banana/clove spices and bitterness at the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with good carbonation.
Overall, it's pretty subdued and flavorless. Otherwise had potential to be good wit. -

OK! Now this is what I'm talking about! It's about time a brewery makes a witbier that's true to style and not just some weak American Wheat watered down grainsack that's supposed to pass for a Wit. Cloudy, hazey with a full white head. Instant lemon, some spice and orange on the nose. Mouthfeel is creamy no doubt, and super spritzy. Like mouthwash spritzy- no kidding! Taste is super mellow but true from start to finish. Again spice with a hint of tartness in the finish. Nice beer guys!

Wasnt expecting much, but this was a pretty decent wit. Strong aromas of coriander, orange/ lemon, and wheat. Usual super hazy body with a nice cap that leaves some good lace. Flavor is similar to the aroma, however the coriander is not as pronounced, more lemon than anything else. Good chewy mouthfeel, its not watery like some wits. Drink fast because the flavor fades quickly.

Poured that nice glowy straw yellow color of a wit but without a substantial head (in a glass that normally doesn’t yield a big head, though). The aroma was the usual coriander, orange peels, grainy wheat, but with something odd in there too, chemical-like (not in a good way, but it was faint and didn’t offend too much or come out in the flavor). Flavor was wheaty malt base with some coriander, oranges, and almost a touch of cinammon in the finish/aftertaste with also a light floral of some variety. Mouthfeel was amply carbonated, tingly (spices?), slightly acidic, moderate body for the style. Thanks, Tim!

A cloudy yellow apperance with a moderate white head. The aroma is full of citrus and coriander. Some lemons, spices, and bready notes present. The flavor is a bit tame on this with some orange peels, spices, and lemons. The aftertaste is slightly spicey. Overall not a bad wit but nothing amazing either. Good summer beer!
