American IPA. Our India Pale Ale is a very malty and highly- hopped beer, the grandaddy of all pale ales. India Pale Ales were originally brewed in England for export to British soldiers stationed in India at the end of the 18th century.

Pours out a dark caramel .. light foam .. roasted nut, light hemp, pancake, maple syrup, red pine, and teabags on the nose ... very smooth, hides the abv well .. definitely more English than American .. Is Edna Fogarty here?

A very strong '8' overall... Deep orange color with a nice medium head and excellent lacing. Nicely balanced grapefruit and pine with a generous hoppiness and a clean finish. Celebratory! Thankfully I was on the Blue Line and didn't have to walk or drive back to the hotel.
