Pours a clear golden with a fairly thick pale buff head. Hoppy aroma has an overtone of orange - no surprise there. Sour orange dominates the hoppy flavor, but lets a hint of malt peek through. Texture is a tad thin and unfizzy, but finish has orangy hops. Hop up to the bar and work on one.

I picked this up from the Wine Gourmet in Roanoke, VA. Here's the thing, I think a LOT of people will have this beer and LOVE it. It smells delicious - naval orange peel and hop resin. It looks delicious - hazy orange hue. It has a nice resiny mouthfeel. It tastes like orange! That's the thing - it's a bit too much orange for me. I like my citrus IPAs to be more balanced towards bitter (i.e., grapefruit). This is sweet citrus. I can see a massive following for this - not artificial tasting at all - but for me, it is a hair too sweet citrus. A well made brew.
