A dark brown, nearly black colored beer with a small one fingered sudsy textured light brown head rising above. There's some hang time on that small head. A thin ringlet is left. A café latte nose. More of the same in the tasting. A little more watery in bottle than I'd like. But overall drinkable.

I have fallen off the Blue Moon bandwagon the last few years. Started off ok back in the day, but since bought out by Miller/Coors just seems total macro and near swill. Especially most of the variations.....with exception to this. First one in a while I truly enjoyed. Maybe it's just hard to mess up a stout unless totally off-balanced. There could be more hops in here, but the flavor is decent. I don't think I would get a 12 of this...maybe at the sale price to bring to a party, card game, or something.
