I like Corona with a lime so I was interested in a beer served with a orange slice. The orange slice didn't help the taste in any way. Ordered a second one and used a lime wedge but it still couldn't save this beer.

Best of the Blue Moons (perhaps). In a small quantity, I even like it a little. But by the end of a bottle or pint, the wimpy fizzy body and lack of anything resembling complexity just doesn't hols up. What at first is fruity and refreshing gets old fast. A session type micromacro such as this should be the exact opposite - able to enjoy in large quantities.

My bottle says Agave nectar ale, but other than that it looks like the same beer in the pic. Nice foam top, good carbonation. Agave aroma comes through nicely, the taste is decent- this would be a nice summertime thirst quencher.

Comes out of the tap a pretty clear amber with some white head - typical, but not off-putting. Aroma is malty with fruity and - must be agave - hints. Malty flavor has a fruity overtone, a bit sweet but not cloying. Firm texture has a good amount of fizz. For a pseudo-craft beer, quite good!

Pours a dark golden color. Smell is sweet, malty. Taste is sweet, wheat, citrus, some agave, a bit unusual. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

Golden body, decent fizzy head, at first, that didnt retain well. Aromas and flavors of honey, cereal, and i guess thats agave. Mouthfeel is sticky sweet.

I guess this has the potential to be worse. Not much different than their summer honey wheat, but the agave might work slightly better. Part of their summer variety pack, which isn't that great by the way. After trying different blue moons over the years, the one I seem to go back to the most is the original old skool Belgian White.

Pours a dark gold .. light head, fades .. no lacing .. . light honey and a touch of agave .. . thin and unappealling and a mockery of stuff .. . pass on this .. . . I went to a general store, but they wouldn't let me buy anything specific.
