Gose (pronounced goza) is a wheat dominant ale originally brewed in Goslar Germany where the recipe was developed to work with the salty waters of the Gose River in the early 1500’s. Originally brewed with coriander and fermented spontaneously, butlater centuries called for the addition of ale yeast and lactobacillus.
