Designed with Espresso Martini in mind, this is an unusual take on the classic German Kolsch style. Dark, with loads of cold drip coffee from Cartel Roasters (Geelong), vanilla pods and roasted malts. Brewed for GABS 2017.

On tap at the Local Taphouse, St Kilda. Nose of coffee, caramel and vanilla. Very very dark brown/red beer with thin film on top. A little lacing. Zingy and light with a watery fruity coffee finish. A lot of coffee but not much Kölsch.
