33cl bottle, picked up at Rudat in Dortmund, pours with a dark mahogany body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma has inviting malt sweetened dark roasted malts, toffee goodness and a faint sweet blueberry sensation. The taste is similar with a mix of burnt chocolate brownie, dark roasted malts, slivers of burnt malts and sweet toffee candy. The toffee sort of caramel note really gives this beer a pleasing balance and fullness of flavor. There’s also a bit of an earthy wet tobacco earthiness that slithers quietly about the other bigger notes. Cool brew.

Bottle: Poured a black with a lacing tan head. Aroma is rich roasted malts. Taste is malty, roast a light smoke, some chocolate hints.
