The beer pours a clouded dark gold colour with a generous bubbly white head which doesn’t last very long. The aroma is light spices, citrus, yeast, and wheat. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation….more full than most witbiers. The flavour is wheat, spices, almost peppery spices, yeast, and citrus. This is the best Ontario witbier I have had in a while.

Pours a hazy, unfiltered, light golden-yellow colour with a white cap, decent stay and lacing. Wow, when they say a "modern take" on the style, they might mean adding some Brett, as some funk in here. Pretty hoppy all around for the style. Also witbier yeast in the nose. The taste is milder with the hops, yeast and earthy notes. Gets cloudier at last pour and the sweetness of Belgian Ale yeast comes out, helping. Pretty different, not really bad, but not my favourite twist on this style I really enjoy.
