What would an IPA have been like if Germany, rather than England, had colonized India? Perhaps it would be like this gigantic pale lager with a big hop presence. It is redolent with hops, clean and malty on the palate, and bitter to the finish.

Medium brown color. Medium head. Aroma is malty and slightly fruity. A medium bodied Imperial Lager. Malts are fruity, sweet and nutty. Hops are spicy. This is a big hoppy beer, definitely in the lager style, but cranked way up. Interesting stylistically. Nice beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
