2013 Rochester Craft Beer Expo winner for Best Beer! This one might take a few trees down without trying. It's the one all the lady axes think they can change. He might be a tough guy in the flannel shirt who tears of bottle caps with his teeth, but don't worry he's easy to get along with. Brewed with a mix of Columbus and Centennial hops, it pours pale amber and goes down surprisingly easy. Well, maybe not so surprising, considering it's from Big Wood Brewery.

Light amber pour with a lasting white head. Aroma is a blast of citrus (grapefruit, tangerine) right off the bat followed by light caramel sweetness, herbal and pine notes. Maybe not a top of the line IIPA but very tasty and at a good price point.

Pours a clear golden amber with a 2 finger, off white head that takes its time. Well carbonated with a little lacing. Aroma is hoppy and gummy bear fruity. Taste is bitter and slightly fruity. Very dry and finishes off with a taste that reminds me of the fruit snacks my mother used to get from Amway. The alcohol is decently hidden. It's a decent beer but not worth the 15 bucks a 4 pack.
