Pygmy Owl is an IPA that's in your face with full fledged hop taste and aroma, yet is low in alcohol. In fact, it clocks in at only 4.2% AVB! An IPA without the harsh bitterness, that you can have more than one without getting that drunkied up feeling. Whooo wants another?

Pours a pale straw colored body, white head with spotty lacing.Aroma of bready malts with hints lemon and grassy hops. Flavor of wheat, bread, and faint lemon hops. Watery mouthfeel, mild hops finish. Overall its middle of the pack for session IPA's.

Pale yellow, no foam at all left after short minute. Aroma is leathery, not pleasant. Light bitter taste, barley aftertaste. Taste is OK still. (Houston 201408)

I'm not gonna hate on it too much. It was pretty weak but grew on me. A little. Watery feel with a weaker than wanted grassy citric pine hop profile, and no malt. There's better session iPas everywhere these days.

Pours like a normal lager with a 2 finger off white head that takes its time. Heavily carbonated not unlike a light lager. Aroma is very fruity and hoppy with some sweets added. Taste is just like a lager but with some pine added. Not good at all.
