Pretty tastey beer, featured on tap at the Alchemy not too long ago. Pours a bright clouded golden yellow colour, very attractive white head. Aroma is spicey and kind of bubblegum like. Sweet and floral. Taste is flavorful, fruity and belgian-esque.

A cloudy yellow apperance with a large white head. The aroma is really nice on this one with some coriander, lemons, oranges, and strangely a hint of cooked veggies. The flavor is rather sour but also contains some spices. I taste lemons, oranges, and a hint of tart apples. Some funky notes exist in this beer as well. Overall a very different and nice beer.

White head (thin) bobbing above a surprisingly golden yellow, cloudy, and well carbonated brew. Coriander is evident on nose, but not much spiciness. Strong malt and rich citrus flavors, an unusual flavor, but very enjoyable. Obvious nod to Belgian styles and fun to drink. I really like this one.

No beer Ive ever had to this point has required (and well earned) as much thought and consideration as the Big Hole Mythical White. Its taking me awhile to formulate exactly what I think and discover exactly where the true character of this beer lies.
Poors an impressive head, consistent with the Belgian style. A phenominal appearence which darkens when held up to the light. A bold aroma which has tremendously grown on me over the course of the tasting. There is a faint (very faint) sensation of alcohol in both the smell and taste. The flavour is rather dry, almost tart.
An interesting flavour, the combination of wit and strong Belgian pale works in my opinion. However it seems to cheat both of those styles. This fusion doesnt really allow the characteristic of their natures to fully come out... But an interesting treat. -

Yet another Trader Joes Special here -- a place that tends to get a fair amount of my business due to the fact that they really don't care if you break up a six-pack, to get rarely seen singles from around the world. This particular beer ended up costing $0.75 -- a fair price for this, I should think.
I expected a fairly dull and lifeless Hoegardden clone, to be honest. But with the head not nearly as abundent as I expected, the aroma less lemony and more Pale Ale-ish, and the warming alcohol clocking in at 7.0%ABV, this actually turned out to be more interesting than I expected.
With all the fires that have been going on down in this part of the country, I suspect my nose full of ash and burning throat might be short-changing this beer's attributes. But needless to say that this is fairly interesting.
Finish is a little sweet and cloying for my taste, and I'm sure that I would not really want to drink this all night long. But for an after-work quaff, this really isn't that bad.

Light gold color, hazy. Head is very large. Aroma is yeasty and spicy, some citrus. A medium bodied ale. Spicy and fruity, mildly malty. Spicy with coriander and orange taste. Smooth taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Holy lord, this has a crazy aroma that comes at you with insane sourness and then follows with bile and more bile, this aroma could peal paint of this i am sure. Damn impressive. Has a full, not hazy golden color with a moderate whitecap. First taste gives little, but finishes with a peanut brittle presence. Now i get an insane amount of whipped cream with a hint of mandarin. Now its more sour, but god damn does this taste like whipped topping. This is a solid original beer, I am very down with this beer. Since its so whipped cream like, maybe i can tip it upside down and get a lill nip off it.

The label on this beer says it is a Grand Cru, however it didn't seem to totally match that compared to others I've had, and seemed more like a belgian wit beer. It was very good though, with a large very creamy head that was quite impressive. A nice orangey-spicy flavor and pretty citrus-like. But probably the most impressive part is that it's from Montana!
