Fitty cents...is what a beer costs. Heard the hype of the $3 6-packs at Walgreens. Wanted to see what that's all about...now I know. Brings me back to my teenage days, to one of the first beers I drank which was Busch...although this is actually smoother than that I think, but with less flavor/malt. Not much flavor at all, but what litle is there is not so horrible. Was actually expecting worse. I guess it is drinkable if you like water and corn.

Well its hard to beat the price at $5.00 for two sixers, so i wasnt expecting much. Aroma and flavor of corn, and a touch of malt. Very pale yellow body, thin fizzy head, with almost no lace. Overall its not a great beer, but for the price it is better than alot of the other macrobrews out there.

This stuff was gross. The aroma of corn and other adjuncts was extremely evident as soon as the can was open. It looked just like Coors Light, but the off-putting aroma and watery mouthfeel made me gag. Overly sweet, and little other flavour to hold interest. All hype....no substance. I had problems giving the other 5 away...my husband didn't want it nor did half the winos outside the hotel!

Pours an almost clear - as in everclear - with only the faintest of gold. Two finger head that disapperas before you can turn and blink. Corny, grassy aroma, but faint enough to not be overly foul. Medium bodied with an odd, slick, almost oily texture. Flavor is... flavor is... oddly enough not entirely hateful, but certainly not a great experience, but you don't expect that for $0.58 a can. It's a mildly corn flavored pale lager and pretends to be nothing more.

This is wretched stuff.....but it's made by Genessee....where you can see the corn syrup trucks lined up for miles. It's pale gold with a huge head that disappears quickly. The aroma is baby vomit, soggy grass, and overly sweet malt. Very watery. Taste is strong, quite unforgiving, a drain pour to be honest.

bought at ..uh.. oh ya, Walgreens... . Pours a hay gold, good puffy foam, dies down to a respectable white froth, lacing is decent .. . thin stuff, but taste is ok, corn and a very mild bitterness .. . i'd buy this cheap shit again, but then again, i do live in a box .. . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BNgRpRuWGs

Got this for Christmas by my mum who thought it was pretty peculiar that there was $3 beer at Walgreens. Not bad, not bad. Would I get it again? Probably not. Would I drink it again if someone gave me one. Not my first choice, but sure. Straightforward lager. Nothing special, but no corn shit, grainy watered down nonsense. Just a cheap brew, that's all.

This was a yellow beer, with a strong flavor on opening the can. With large amounts of carbonation.Lots of corn and adjuctant flavors here, but what do you expect for this price.A case was $6.89, not sure i could drink that much of this.
