500 ml capped bottle. Poured in the original La Piautre stemmed glass an unfiltered dark-dark-brown, so to speak black, coloured Stout with a one finger tan foamy head that had a mid-sized retention and tons of micro bubbles. Low carbonation. No lacing. The aroma is strong roasted and burnt malts, strong roasted coffee beans, hints of spices, licorice. The flavour is roasted malts, cold-roasted coffee beans, black chocolate, notes of smoke and ashes. The mouthfeel is crispy, high sparkling and quite thin. This light bodied Stout has a lingering roasted malts and bitter finish. A nice and well tasting Stout from la vallée de la Loire, with an original sparkling touch.
