Typically not a fan of the type - including this one. Tended to resemble a sour far more than a wheat. Pale yellow with virtually no head or retention. Earthy funk (unpleasant) aroma. Pretty nasty all around for me.

On tap at The B Line in Tucson
Clear straw golden with a medium sized white head, good lacing. Mild aroma of wheat and lemon. Mild flavors of citrus, fruity and mild tartness
Easy to drink but bland -

Bottle thanks to the mother-in-law: Poured a clear blonde with a whispering white head. The aroma is huge funk, souring to the nose, and cheese. The taste was blandish with light tartness, lemon, mashed wheat, and some herbal finish. I’m not big on tart beers so I found this to be a very drinkable Berliner Weisse.

12oz bottle pours clear bright gold with bright white head. The aroma is sour mash for sure and also offering up notes of grapefruit and lemon nuances as well as fresh wheat and soft faint semi ripe banana. The taste is crisp with sweetened wheat notes, a touch of banana, mild lemon like acidic notes, a pleasing funky note and a lingering sense of freshness requiring additional quaffs. It ends almost neutral in flavor as well as dry and refreshing. Wow!

Pours a cloudy straw yellow color, looks like a lighter colored version of a wheat beer. There is a bit of a white head that dissipates fairly quickly. leaving a very thin layer of bubbles across the top. The aroma is tart and funky. Also can detect a hint of lemon and bread dough. The taste is a bit on the citrus side, a bit like lemon and a sour orange. The sweet and sour balances well, so neither become overwhelming. The mouthfeel is fairly smooth, with a little bite from the carbonation and is a light to medium bodied.

A dull yellow orange colored beer with a big frothy textured with head rising above. There's some hang time on the head. A robustly thick cap is left. Funked, vinegary nose. Disappointingly flavorless in tasting.

Handed to me thinking it was just an american wheat, woah! .. great sour touch to it, like berlinner style! .. . light yellow, medium foam .. lemon, hay, wheat, jack lemmon, and tart wheat .. . why is my eye twitching!! .. . a great summer time beverage! .. . .
My hiney's asleep!

Take this beer for what it is....a refreshing mildly sour wheat ale. Very light and lightly tart. Great cloudy and vibrant pour suspending the yeast in the glass. Pale wheat, dry and quenching with a fruity tart twang. Excellent choice as I await the warm weather to come forth.

Pours a clear straw yellow with a typical white head - not inspiring, but this turns out to be the beer's weakest point. Aroma is not strong, but is crisp, yeasty and a little lemony. Flavor is better - yeasty and rather lemony, even somewhat tart. Texture is smooth, just a teensy watery but acceptable. Maybe this bottle came from what was not their best batch.

Strictly by looks, you would think this was a plain lager--clear yellow with very little head. Even the aroma is weak--grainy with just a hint of fruity hops. All of this changes on the first taste when a burst of tartness hits the palate. I wasn't expecting the sourness but it was just what the beer needed to set it apart. Very pleasant, easy drinking beer that will be great on a hot summer day.
