The fourth release in our Planets Series shines the spotlight on specialty malts, while the hops take on more of a supporting role. Brewed with seven different varieties of malt and hopped for a balanced bitterness, this Imperial Brown Ale has bready, biscuity, toasty notes along with light chocolate and roast flavors. This beer is robust, warming and satisfying like the piece of music it was named after.

    Pours clear mahogany with a thick and rather persistent fluffy buff head. Roast malt aroma has hints of cloves and chocolate. Flavor starts with a toasty malt core and adds subtle clove, caramel and chocolate notes for a satisfying, if not spectacular, brown ale. Mouthfeel is thick and syrupy, though fizz leaves a bit to be desired. Still, this will bring you jollity! (But don’t get too jolly, lest you wake up with your own Great Red Spot - ha ha ha!)
