I assume this is a new recipe for Beer Works, as I had to add this to the system as a new beer. The waiter at our table talked this on up, but unfortunately, I left disappointed.

Everything about the way this beer looked was promising. The beer was slightly orange with a thick white head. That is where things ended. The aroma was subpar. It had an almost sickening smell of coriander and alcohol. I'm not sure why it smelled so much like alcohol, but it wasn't appropriate for the style.

It got even worse with the flavor. Something was wrong. It left a sharp, unsettling taste on my tongue after I drank it. Thank God the mouthfeel wasn't too bad as that could have totally ruined my evening for me. I drank about 3 gulps of this and that was enough.

I'm very shocked that this was a Boston Beer Works beer as their stuff is normally pretty good. I'd stay away from this one for a while until they revisit and revise their recipe.
