500 ml bottle bought at the brewpub. Poured a clear brown colored beer with a three fingers beige creamy foamy head that had a long retention. Active carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is roasted malts, burnt coffee, caramel, herbal hops. The flavour is robust roasted malts, caramel, coffeish, dried fruits, nuts. The mouthfeel is crispy , creamy and a little bit oily. This medium bodied beer has a dry bitter finish. A pleasant Dunkel.

Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Labelled as Beck Dunkelbier. Pours out in a clear ruby brown colour with a rich creamy white foam. Toasted malts, nuts, fudge, caramel and salty licorice in the aroma. Medium-bodied with solid yet elegant malt character of caramel, fudge, nuts, crackers, cocoa and anise. long medium bitter finish of toasted malts and nuts with hints of grassy hops.

(as Beck Dunkel, 4.9%). Amber colour, mediumsized creamy beige head. Aroma is malts, some dark bittery fruits and gops. Flavour is hops, slight diacetyl and some roasted notes. Caramelly and hoppy aftertaste.
