Local brewer but their product can be difficult to drink because they are very loose in their interpretation of styles. Light golden colour, slight murkiness, and a weak off-white cap. Aroma is floral and herbal with yeast and sweet malt in the background. Flavour is herbal with some up front malty notes. A nice effort, and certainly something different.

Part of Beau's B-Sides label. Pours a very large amount of foamy/bubbly white head. Has a slightly cloudy, pale golden appearance. Patchy lacing. Aromas of floral hops quite dominant as well as citrus hops, wheats and mild grains. Flavours of floral and citrus hops, some light rye notes, very mild sweetness. Also some barley malts and a bit of yeast showing. Fairly excessive carbonation. Slick, oily mouthfeel with a zesty mouthcoating finish. Really refreshing mix of hops and many organic ingredients.

The beer pours a translucent medium gold colour with a white half inch cap. Aroma is citrusy hops, grains, spices and caramel. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour is very herbaceous with hints of caramel and grains and a definite hop finish. -

Bottle: pours a pale hazed straw color with a decent sticky white cap. Moderate effervescence. The aroma is the highlight of this brew with the sharp pungent smell of herbs, herbaceous plants and spicey hops over light bready pale malt tones. Flavour is hop/herb forward with the spice-herb-bittering riding just above the biscuity malts….finish goes dry with increasing bittering and a sharp herb-biscuit kiss at the closing. A well designed specialty pale ale where the herbaceous adjuncts compliment the hops chosen…very nice, very drinkable and relatively unique.

Batch number 3312. The ingredients look wild with lots of teas (flowers) and some maple syrup. Still smells like a pale ale. There is also cranberries in here, and they add a nice touch of fruity sweetness to everything. Hazy amber colour with a frothy white head and creamy lacing. Mild soap nose with the hop and oats. A nice dryness for mouthfeel, but still goes down well with some wetness. Hop bitterness with loads of flavours. I am pretty amazed at everything found in here and how well it is blended. A must try !!
