32oz crowler pours with a clear deep copper to amber colored body that supports a full dense tan head of foam. The aroma offers up dark crystal malts and then thin notes of spicy black licorice, a hit of prune and then faint earthy spicy hops. The taste delivers sweet malts, sweet dark crystal malts, a bit of plum and then a wide load of spicy to black licorice to earthy tobacco like hoppy bitterness. Nice.
