I have wanted to try this for years, back before it was bottled I think. The 22oz bomber pours with a murky presumably hop hazed copper to gold body that supports a thin off white head. The modest aroma offers up malts and then slivers of juicy citrus hops mixed with floral, grassy and dank onion like hoppiness. The taste begins smooth with malts and soft flavor hop notes. The hops become briefly juicy with citrus and mango before full flavored bitter and resiny hops take over. It has an even blend of bitter citrus hops, grassy to pine hops and then bitter floral, dank onion and slightly earthy tea hoppiness. Pretty damn solid. It would be great to try this fresh on tap at some point.

Thin white head, lasting, interesting lace, tight. Hazy, orange colored ale. Citrusy hops in the nose, bit of malt, slightly. Body is med/full, juicey, hoppy, light resin, lil bite. Nice hop flavors, resin, pine grapefruit, lil, leafy, earthy, orangey, tangy. Dry, fruity finish, juicey, fun. Fuck you. Growler from SLL. Thanks much Roberrrrrrt!

Tasted on tap at the Bistro Double IPA Festival on 2/7/2009. This imperial IPA pours a slightly cloudy orange gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is floral and citrusy. A medium bodied Imperial IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are floral and citrusy. Lots of orange flavors. Nicely balanced. A medium bitter IPA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
