Ka pow! Hop Ninja is an in-your-face West Coast double IPA. Hop flavors slice their way through a base of American 2-row malt kissed by caramel malt. Quadruple dry hopping with Simcoe, Amarillo, and Columbus creates an aroma that skillfully takes your olfactory senses hostage. A dry finish masks the sneak attack of 8.9% ABV.

Tasted on tap at the 13th Bistro Double IPA Festival on 2/9/2013. This double IPA pours a light orange gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, sweet, orange and citrusy. A medium bodied Imperial India Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and floral, a touch piney. Lots of orange. Nice balance between the malts and hops. Smooth, nice lingering bitterness. Very clean and dry finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
