Bitter, yes, but lacking in the floral/citrus/piney aspects I like in a (especially west coast) ipa. Sturdy malt backbone, making me think they were going for more of the english style. A clean, easy drinking, but rather bland ipa. Last of 4 from Bayhawk.

Rating from 2000. Light brown color, slightly cloudy, medium head. Medium malted, heavily hopped IPA. Very hoppy somewhat bitter, yet with some malt sweetness. Full mouth feel. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is bitter.
