This Seasonal Delicacy begins with Sweet Oklahoma Sugar Pumpkins. We have them grown especially for us, in a secret Pumpkin Patch just south of town. Native Pecans, Vanilla Beans, and our Special Spice Blend give this Beer a unique character all its own. We think this is what Pumpkin Pie wants to be when it grows up.

Nice pour. Good head, but it dissipates too fast. Smells pretty good. Sugar, cinnamon, and a little clove and nutmeg or allspice. Mouthfeel is velvety and the taste is exquisite. Like pumpkin pie with whipped cream. I can even taste the crust. If I have any complaints, it's just a little too sweet. Never mind that, I'm buying more of this tomorrow!!!!

Pours medium brown, a little murky, with tall, foamy head. Smells molasses sweet and spicy with nutmeg and clove. The flavor is sweet, but not overly so, and nutty with bold spicing. You can tell that the pumkin flavor is real, not artificial, which is about the best complement I can pay this ale. Thinnish medium body and amply carbonated. Fans of pumpkin beer (I am not) would appreciate this version.

Sampled at GABF on 9/16/2010. This pumpkin beer pours a medium orange gold color . Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, sweet, pumpkin and spicy. A medium bodied pumpkin beer. The malts are fruity and sweet, pumpkin and spicy. The hops are herbal. A fairly spicy pumpkin beer with lots of nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and allspice. Not very sweet. The spice tend to dominate the pumpkin and malt. Interesting beer though. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is spicy.
