Here the label came first. I was working on a bottled beer stall at a craft fair when I was approached by Sharyn Turner who was fascinated by the labels. She had previously done some art work for Green Tye brewery and was interested in doing a label for me. She had an interest in modern Paganism and so I came up with the name 'Beltane Braces' and she painted the God and Goddess. The beer is a very dark with crystal, dark crystal, a little amber and roast barley in the grist. I have used Challenger, Goldings and Fuggles in the copper.
