Barons ESB is crafted with a blend of Australian pale malt, English Golden Promise and crystal malt creating an naturally hazy copper beer that has a full malty body to support the abundance of hops. Four different English noble hops are added in four different stages of the brewing process to create a complex and rewarding blend of hop bitterness, flavour and aroma. The flavour and aroma of East Kent Golding hops tops the smooth refreshing bitterness.

The more I drink ESBs, the more I like them. This beer isn't really anything "extra special", but is smooth an tasty. I am mainly tasting caramel and honey, with a hint of banana. I used to think ESBs were more bitter than this. Not bitter as a hoppy IPA. Pours a hazy medium brown color. A good daytime or social drinking beer, not really something that you'd sip.

I got a cloudy, regal amber colored ale. Nice big off white frothy head. Decent hang time settling into ringlets and budles atop the beer. Bready, sweet malt aroma rises to the nose. The body is crisp and smooth. The taste a nice balance of sweet and bitter. A really nice complement to soft pretzels.

The nose on the ESB was huge and floral... I love it... Ok white head and a orange hue. Good carbonation with a crisp finish.. I liked the flavor and good drink this again.. Not over sweet like some ESB but has a nice maltiness to it. Hop profile was ok. but the beer finished very dry.. Some bread tones going on.. Nice Brew

Hazy amber... thick head...good lace. Good English aroma profile...tobacco leaf notes, stone fruit, cereal grains.... The flavour supports the aroma...plus a firm bitterness to justify the name. Not too exciting, but good to see something different on the Australian scene...
