The fourth release in our single-hop IPA series is Monolithic No. 4: Cascade. Cascade is a classic hop made famous for its depth and ability to shine as a single hop, and in a variety of beer styles. Though versatile, Cascade is perfect for Pale Ales and IPAs, imparting its citrusy, piney and spicy herb characters. In our Monolithic base, this hop brings a lemon candy aroma up front, followed by bright citrus and lingering bitterness on the palate. A yuzu zest and grapefruit juice citrus bomb, followed by a subtle hint of herb and spice like fresh mint, lime leaves and sage. It finishes strong, but still smooth with a solid bitterness.
