This is the second in our "Bike Series." (Black Bike Bier was the first.) Blurry Bike IPA may be the most refreshing IPA we brew. While we NEVER endorse drinking and pedaling, this beer won’t slow you down. Much. Warning: DO NOT PUT BLURRY BIKE IN YOUR WATER BOTTLE! However, a growler does fit conveniently in most messenger bags. This IPA is brewed exclusively with Columbus hops for a citrus note that resonates clean and crisp. Go for a ride! So, what is an IPA, anyhow? The style was originally developed for the long journey from Great Britain to their troops in India. These days, though, American craft brewers have stretched the definition of IPAs, all the way to I,perial IPAs with double digit ABVs and triple digit IBUs.. In fact, this is our tenth different IPA at Barley’s. Generally, an IPA is an ultra-super premium version of a pale ale, and so is this one. Rather than blow your head off with bitterness and alcohol, we decided it was time for a "session IPA." The result is Blurry Bike IPA. It’s crisp, with plenty of hop backbone, yet it won’t knock you off your seat after just one. We think it’s pretty refined, though that doesn’t give you the green light to get on your bike after you’ve had a few (let alone get behind a teering wheel!) We hope you enjoy this one as much as we enjoyed brewing it.

    Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 6

poured a hazy golden with no head and no lace. The aroma is floral with tangerine. The taste is nicely balanced with tangerine peel and a bitter finish. The Mouthfeel is medium in body with good carbonation
