A MASSIVE thanks to Chris (SlowRunner77) for this gem. This beer was ridiculous! Huge flavor, big booze backbone (but not offensive). The color is black as night. The aroma is sweet booze and chocolate. Phenomenal beer. Just plain wicked good!

Tasted on tap at the 2007 Pizza Port Strong Ale Festival. This Imperial Porter pours a medium black color. Medium to small sized tan head. Aroma is chocolate and coffee with a touch of vanilla. A medium bodied Imperial porter. The malts are chocolate and coffee. The hops are earthy. Nice balance. There is a touch of wood and wine as well as vanilla flavors in this beer, but the chocolate and coffee flavors dominate. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
