Traditional premium ale, light golden in colour. Noticeable floral dry hop aroma balanced with biscuity and fruity notes. Full bodied with a medium bitterness and a rounded, smooth, hoppy flavour. Hints of melon and pear. A clean finish with some hoppy linger.

(500 ml bottle). This is really just a decent English bitter with a bit more alcohol. Other raters claim that the bottle is more heavily hopped than the draught version - that might be true, at least the golden beer in front of me has a lovely hoppy aroma and a nice bitterness. Good head. Rather light bodied (too light?), which makes the brewery advertize it as "deceptively drinkable". Very refreshing it is, would like to sample the draught version too.

Purchased at the Liquor Control Board of Ontario Store. A clear copper coloured beer with a weak white cap that lingers for a while. The aroma is caramel, yeast, and cereal malts. The flavour is toffee, yeast, and grains. A very easy drinking beer.

Very bright clear pale orange yellow with small lasting white foam head, lacing. Aroma of fresh cut grass, some flowers. Taste is strange, not like a bitter. Short aftertaste, undefined. (Velp 201304)

Really a bitter bitter. Charaterized as a strong ale but only 5%. Okay apperance and a bitter aroma that emphasies the flavour. Starts hoppy on the tongue but gets very bitter. A touch of carbination. Aquired taste

Dark golden color with a light head. Aroma was as you would expect, a bit of hop, a bit of malt and some yeasty fruitiness. Flavor was a bit of a rollercoaster - starts out almost too sweet then finishes almost too bitter. The almost is key - the two extremes are within bounds, makes for an interesting pint. The bitterness sneaks up on you and gradually builds up.

Bottle. Poured a dark golden colour, with a average white head. Aroma is fruity. Taste is sweetish, malty and slightly bitter. Full bodied, smooth and crisp. Very nice, a good beer from a good brewery.

Sampled at Archery Tavern, London. Hand-pumped. Excellent full-bodied ale with noticable fruit and spice flavor.

Well, for and Strong Ale, its not really that strong, light and edgy, with some burnt malts and slight bitter finish.
