The award winning England's Gold is a fresh light ale with a crisp taste and zippy floral aroma. Flavours of white grape and melon develop to reveal a subtle bitterness... a taste that is quintessentially English. Brewed at the 'Hall & Woodhouse Brewery' in the heart of the Dorset countryside, England's Gold is the culmination of lots of hard work from our Head Brewer and his team; resulting in a truly great beer.

500 ml capped bottle. Poured in the original Badger's pint a clear rich golden-amber coloured ale with a one finger slightly beige creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Active carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is moderate malty, mild floral hops, notes of caramel, honey and fruits. The flavour is moderate malty, flowery, rose-petal, citrussy hops, notes of honey. The mouthfeel is crispy and sparkling. This light bodied ale has a dry slight bitter finish. An easy drinkable ale, very fresh and pleasant.

500 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård, Denmark. ABV is 4.6%. Golden colour, big to moderate white head. Nice aroma of floral and fruity hops, "dusty" malts in the background. The flavour is fruity, on a background of fairly sweet pale malts, ending in a very moderate bitterness. Like other Badger bottled beers: refreshing and drinkable, but does not blow your socks off.
